So... A whole hell of a lot has changed since my last post, which was probably a couple years ago now. I'm pretty sure I've lost all those old posts when I moved my photography site from Zenfolio (don't use zenfolio), since apparently they were not transferable.

Anyway, since that last post, I started grad school and completed a Master of Arts in Mass Communications, Web Design & Online Communication. Soon after that, Carrie and I both quit our jobs and moved to Seattle after a month-long road trip across the country.

After a few months in an Airbnb, we found and apartment, got jobs and I tore my ACL (and a lot of damage to all the other ligaments in my knee) skiing, flew to LA for a friend's wedding, flew to Florida for my sister's wedding and then had surgery to repair my knee. Since then, I've been doing a lot of pain killers, rehab and finally getting around to watching House of Cards, but now I'm finally starting to be able to get out and about to do some exploration of the PNW. That's Pacific Northwest for all you east coast Fam.

I'll probably go back and post about particular events since moving out here, and maybe a few select D.C.-themed posts as well, but for now I'll just give a little taste of what we've been up to over the past few months here.

I'm feeling particularly inspired to start posting again, and hopefully I can keep up the enthusiasm. And hopefully y'all are at least slightly interested...
